Learn to play the Pipes or Drums

Interested in becoming a piper or drummer?

If you have always wanted to learn how to play the Great Highland Bagpipe, Snare Drum, or Tenor Drum the Richmond Hill Centennial Pipe Band is always interested in bringing on new members, be they beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

We have band members willing to give you instruction on either the bagpipe, snare drum, or tenor drum

Please contact the Pipe Major for more information

Hiring the Band for your event

1. FULL BAND:
Includes AT LEAST 6 pipers, 2 snare drummers and a bass drummer.

2. DUO:
Either 2 pipers or 1 piper and 1 snare drummer.

3. SOLO PIPER:

What will it cost?
The cost depends on many factors, including the number of players and the nature, location and duration of the function. Please contact the Pipe Major to discuss.

How long in advance should I book?
The earlier the better. Usually 2-3 months is sufficient, but closer dates can be accommodated as long as they don't conflict with previous commitments. Pipers for funerals can usually be arranged on as little as 24 hour's notice. Please contact the Pipe Major to discuss.
